About Donna Scott

Donna Scott is a vice president, distinguished analyst in Gartner Research. She is responsible for real-time infrastructure, business availability and business continuity/disaster recovery at Gartner. She focuses on best practices for IT operations management and architecture, end-to-end IT service management and 24x7 availability. Prior to her career in research, Ms. Scott spent 10 years in management consulting, managing medium- to large-scale business process engineering and business application implementations, including enterprise resource planning and financial systems.

About Jeffrey Allen

Mr. Allen is Vice President of Offer Management for Level 3’s Business Markets Group, and has responsibility for growing the company’s business in the Enterprise segment. Over the past three years, he held a number of roles within Level 3 including product management, business development, and M&A and integration support. Before joining Level 3, Mr. Allen focused on delivering products and technology solutions to the Enterprise market through a series of M&A activities and joint ventures for a major international telecommunications provider. Prior to that, he spent several years as a strategy consultant to the telecommunications industry. Mr. Allen holds a Masters degree in Finance and Technology Marketing.

About Jim Ryan

Jim Ryan is the Director of Outreach and Network Development for Wall Street West and is responsible for informing business leaders in New York's financial communities of the advantages of developing back-up operations in the nine northeastern Pennsylvania counties represented in Wall Street West (Berks, Carbon, Lackawanna, Lehigh, Luzerne, Monroe, Northampton, Pike and Wayne). Additionally, he is responsible for overseeing the construction and deployment of the fiber optic network that will provide the necessary infrastructure for financial firms to locate back-up operations outside of lower Manhattan. Jim has more than 20 years of business experience in the telecommunications and semiconductor industries. Prior to joining Wall Street West, he was Vice President of Operations for Broad Air Communications, where he established full operations for this early-stage and fixed wireless broadband provider in New Jersey. He also served more than 16 years with Applied Materials, the largest semiconductor capital equipment manufacturer in the world, in Santa Clara, California. As an Operations Executive, he held various leadership positions with Applied Materials and was responsible for global operations of semiconductor plants in the U.S., Asia and Europe. Jim holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Lehigh University, and an MBA from Santa Clara University in California. He also served in the United States Navy as a nuclear-trained submarine officer.
