With metro-scale Wi-Fi poised to become common and even ubiquitous, two key questions arise with respect to radio interference. First, will residential and enterprise Wi-Fi systems potentially degrade metro-scale Wi-Fi network performance? Second, and far more interesting, will metro-scale Wi-Fi networks cause interference to other unrelated Wi-Fi systems located nearby?
